The commitment of the Curtatone Municipal Administration continues to ensure increasingly safe, modern and welcoming school buildings. An important step in this direction is represented by the seismic improvement intervention of the “Don Grioli” Primary School in the hamlet of Levata, a project that focuses on the safety of children and the entire school community.
Thanks to a total investment of 950,000 euros, financed for 825,000 euros through PNRR funds, a major structural intervention has been launched. The heart of the project consists in the construction of an external exo-envelope, consisting of a custom-shaped EPS formwork for the casting of reinforced concrete load-bearing walls. A cutting-edge intervention that will significantly improve the building's seismic stability, protecting it from horizontal stresses in the event of earthquakes.
These works, carried out carefully and in synergy with the construction of the new canteen, have been planned so as not to interfere with the daily activities of the school, ending by September 2025.
The result is much more than a simple technical intervention: it is a concrete investment in the future of our children, who will be able to grow and learn in a safer, more comfortable and resilient environment. A stronger school also means a more peaceful community, where every parent can trust their children.
Thanks to the joint commitment of administration, technical offices, designers, businesses and citizens, Levata today has a school that is more ready to welcome the new generations. A virtuous example of public construction at the service of people, with an eye to the future.
Levata is growing, the school is growing, our future is growing.
