Fiera delle Grazie in Curtatone celebrates its 600th anniversary, confirming its status as one of Italy's most evocative events.

Fiera delle Grazie, one of the most important events dedicated to madonnara art, was presented in the prestigious setting of the Vittoriale degli Italiani. 

The seventh edition of the Battle of Curtatone and Montanara Award was much more than a celebratory event: it was a collective experience, felt and lived by those who love and value the roots of an extraordinary territory.

The Mayor of Curtatone and President of the Province of Mantua Carlo Bottani describes the emotion of having brought the name of the Municipality and the entire province of Mantua to Rome, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the prestigious Battle of Curtatone and Montanara.

At the heart of the Battle of Curtatone and Montanara Prize, a powerful and meaningful symbol is born: the Witness. A work designed and created by the Roman craftsman Dante Mortet to preserve and pass on the memory of an event that marked history.

Dante Mortet, renowned Roman craftsman at Bottega Mortet, recounts the profound meaning of a project that brought together two symbolic cities of Italian culture: Mantua, home of Virgil, and Rome, the cradle of civilization.

The Battle of Curtatone and Montanara Prize was created with the objective of paying homage to a crucial moment in Italian history: the battle of 29 May 1848. An event that, even today, represents a symbol of courage, sacrifice and national identity.

The Fior di Loto Award, now in its fourth edition, celebrates the link between territory, identity and inclusion. During the event, a project that combines productive excellence and intercultural openness was presented: the first Grana Padano made with vegetable rennet.

With the official launch of Mantua Food, the province of Mantua kicks off an ambitious project: creating a strong, identity and shared brand, able to represent the best of its agri-food heritage. Grana Padano, Parmigiano Reggiano and many other excellences thus become ambassadors of the territory in the world.

The First Lotus Flower Festival represented a special opportunity to reflect on the deeper meaning of well-being and on the link between body, mind and nature.

At the heart of the celebrations for the 170th anniversary of the Battle of Curtatone and Montanara, a profoundly symbolic and meaningful ceremony took place: the presentation of the Curtatone and Montanara Prize to Dr. Franco Gabrielli, Prefect of Rome and former Chief of Police.
