MUNICIPIUM MAGGIOLI APP: THE ADVANCED SOLUTION FOR CITIZEN REPORTING

Municipium Maggioli is the app dedicated to communication between citizens and local administrations, updated in May 2024 to offer an even more efficient, intuitive experience in line with modern digital needs. The City of Curtatone, always attentive to technological evolution and to the ways in which citizens interact with public services, has chosen to adopt this solution to guarantee a direct, fast and accessible communication and information channel.

From May 1, 2024, the new version of the Municipium app is available on the App Store and Google Play, representing an important step forward in the digitalization of municipal services. After a careful period of experimentation with two different software houses from 2015 to 2022, the Municipality decided to permanently entrust the management of the app to the company Maggioli, a strategic choice made possible also thanks to the funds of the PNRR for digitalization. This decision has not only made it possible to optimize costs, but it has above all improved the quality of the service, placing the real needs of citizens at the center.

With Municipium, citizens can send reports in a quick and detailed manner directly to the competent offices, ensuring a more timely and transparent management.

In the coming months, the app will be further enhanced with new features designed to meet the needs of an increasingly connected and dynamic community. Among the expected updates:
  • Real-time information on work in progress, road closures and traffic diversions
  • Hours and extraordinary openings of schools, libraries and public offices
  • Personalized notifications on essential services, such as the pharmacy shift
  • Updated calendar of events and public appointments, including parties, festivals and courses
This attention to digital innovation demonstrates the will of the City of Curtatone to be ever closer to its citizens, listening to their needs and offering tools that simplify daily life. The adoption of Municipium is not only a step forward in the modernization of services, but it also represents the Administration's constant commitment to ensuring an open, transparent and up-to-date dialogue, making the Curtatone community more informed, connected and participatory.
