In the Municipality of Curtatone, an important renovation and expansion project involved the Levata Primary School, with the aim of improving school spaces and ensuring greater functionality to services essential for the well-being of students.
The project, approved in 2023 and concluded in October 2024, involved the creation of a new volume, intended to house:
- A refectory and a subportioning kitchen, to improve the management of the school canteen, ensuring more efficient meals and a faster and more organized service.
- New modern and functional toilets for students and operators, improving hygiene and comfort within the school.
- Deposits and attached technical rooms, to optimize logistics management and ensure adequate space for daily needs.
Investment and timing:
- Total cost of the work: 880,000€
- Financing through PNRR: 593,903.19€
- End of work scheduled for October 2024
This intervention represents a significant step forward for schools and for the community, with the objective not only of improving the efficiency of spaces, but also of ensuring greater accessibility and quality of school services, creating environments where children can live and grow in a more modern and safe environment. The new canteen, together with the improvements in terms of services and spaces, offers an ideal environment where students can enjoy a more complete, safe and pleasant school experience.
