THE WATER NETWORK: A TRICKLE OF WATER THAT GUARDS THE TERRITORY

Water is life. It flows silently through the ditches, canals, and minor watercourses that cross our land, nourishing the fields, protecting the soil and ensuring the balance of the landscape. These small watercourses, often ignored, are in reality a vital fabric for the security and beauty of our territory.

The City of Curtatone is well aware of this. Already in 2016, with foresight and commitment, it drew the map of its smaller water network, recognizing the importance of preserving and managing these essential natural elements. Today, with the evolution of regulations, a further step forward has been taken: in 2024 the grid was updated, refined, made even more effective in ensuring the flow of water and the protection of the territory.

Why is all of this crucial?
Because a well-maintained water network means lower risks of flooding, greater protection for fields and homes, a healthier and safer environment. It means respecting the ancient bond between man and water, valuing the landscape and taking responsible care of our land.

Curtatone is once again confirmed as an attentive, aware and innovative municipality. Water is our most precious asset: let's keep it, protect it, let it flow into the future.
