On Sunday, May 4, 2025, our territory enthusiastically welcomed the 42nd edition of the Friendship Walk, promoted by Casa del Sole. An event that, like every year, brought together people of all ages in a big collective embrace, a symbol of solidarity, participation and sharing.
The theme chosen for this year's edition, “A Home for Everyone”, brought with it a strong and universal message: the home is not just a physical place, but a symbol of encounter, relationships and hospitality. With this walk, the community was able to build step by step a space made of closeness, empathy and belonging, in which every person could feel at home.
The itinerary started from New Year's Eve in Curtatone and led the participants to Grazie, crossing the territory on a symbolic and shared journey. Upon arrival, Grazie's large lawn provided the setting for a party designed for everyone: food stands, traditional games, music and creative workshops enlivened the day, giving smiles and moments of joy.
In the afternoon, at the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Graces, the celebration of Holy Mass was held, which brought the participants together in a moment of spirituality and reflection. Soon after, the sky was filled with colors with the traditional kite festival, a hymn to freedom, lightness and hope.
To allow the event to take place safely, the municipal road network has been temporarily closed along the route, with the support and coordination of the Local Police.
The Friendship Walk was, once again, a living testimony of how strong the community can be when it moves together towards a common goal. A simple gesture — walking together — has taken on a profound meaning: that of building, symbolically and concretely, a Home for Everyone. A home made of gestures, listening and presence. A home that remains in the heart of those who were there.
