The City of Curtatone has successfully launched an important process for the revision and updating of the Territorial Governance Plan (PGT). This process, which concerned the adaptation to current needs and future challenges, was a fundamental step in building a territory that reflected the needs of our community, respecting the environment and ensuring sustainable development for future generations.
The procedure, started with the publication of the official notice, was designed to involve all citizens. With the deadline for submitting proposals and comments set for December 31, 2022, the City has given space to all those who wished to actively contribute to strategic urban planning choices. This was a unique opportunity to have a say in defining how we wanted our territory to evolve, promoting a healthy environment and a greener and more livable future.
In parallel, this process also led to the launch of a Strategic Environmental Assessment (VAS), which ensured that every change to the urban plan took into account the environmental impact, protecting natural resources and ensuring development that did not consume land, but would redevelop it. An essential step to make Curtatone a model of sustainable urban development.
This general variant to the PGT was not just a technical document: it was the beating heart of our vision for a more harmonious, united and environmentally friendly territory. It was an opportunity to actively participate in building a better future for Curtatone, in which every choice was made with the common good in mind.
