AN IMPORTANT STEP TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR OUR TERRITORY

With City Council Resolution No. 74 of 22 April 2024, the Strategic Environmental Assessment (VAS) procedure was officially launched, a crucial moment for our future. This process concerns the General Urban Planning Variant for the adaptation of the Land Government Plan (PGT) to the Provincial Territorial Coordination Plan (PTCP), integrated in accordance with Regional Law 31/2014 on land consumption. A fundamental step that does not only concern technical changes, but the construction of a greener, more sustainable and community-friendly future.

This is our territory, our future. The urban variant we are developing is designed to meet the needs of today, anticipating those of tomorrow, protecting the environment and reducing land consumption. But it's not just a matter of rules and plans: it's an extraordinary opportunity for us citizens to be an active part of this change. With the VAS procedure, the actors involved are identified, but our role does not stop there.

Thanks to this procedure, the City is committed to ensuring an open and conscious participation of all citizens. We will be able to contribute with ideas, proposals and observations, to build together a plan that reflects the real needs of those who live and love this territory. It's not just about planning, but about building a cohesive community that thinks about the common good, preserving the environment for future generations.

The VAS is not only a bureaucratic procedure, but a guarantee that every choice, every change, respects and protects the natural resources that make our territory unique. Protecting the environment, upgrading the soil, promoting responsible use of resources: these are the commitments that guide us, and that make Curtatone an example of sustainable urban development.

With this start of the procedure, not only a technical process begins, but a path that unites us all in a common vision for the future. Every contribution will be essential to define a territory that, in addition to growing, respects our commitment to the environment. The future is in our hands, and together we can build it, step by step.

Thanks to all those who, with their commitment, will help to shape this project for a healthier, more livable and sustainable territory. Together, we make a difference.
