Having a home means much more than four walls: it is security, stability, the starting point for building your future. It is the place where children grow up, the elderly find peace of mind and families live their daily lives.
The City of Curtatone has always put the well-being of its citizens at the center, and that is why it carefully manages 57 public housing units, guaranteeing a concrete opportunity for those who find themselves in difficult housing situations.
Among these, two accommodations are intended for housing emergencies, because no one should ever feel alone in the face of life's unforeseen events. A home can make a difference at critical moments, offering shelter and the opportunity to restart.
How does the assignment work?
Every year, the available accommodations are included in the Annual Plan requested by the Lombardy Region. This makes it possible to guarantee transparency and fairness, ensuring that homes are assigned to those who actually need them, in compliance with regional rankings and criteria updated from year to year.
Why do we do it?
Because a city is not only made of streets and buildings, but above all of people. And it is our duty to offer those in difficulty a solid base on which to rebuild their serenity.
Curtatone is a community that takes care of everyone. Because a home is not just a place, but a right.
