A strategic infrastructure for the territory
The doubling of the Mantova-Piadena railway line, currently in progress with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) as a contracting station, represents a fundamental intervention for the improvement of mobility and connections in our territory. A long-awaited work, which promises to make transport more efficient, faster and more sustainable.
A municipality that does not want to be divided, but united. However, every major change brings with it challenges. The City of Curtatone is at the forefront of dealing with the delicate issue of urban “stitching” between the areas north and south of the railway. Without adequate interventions, the risk is that our territory will be broken in two, creating barriers that would penalize the daily lives of citizens and economic activities.
For this reason, the municipal administration is carrying out continuous negotiations with RFI, working to obtain as many connecting works as possible, such as bridges and underpasses, essential to ensure traffic, security and connection between the different areas of the municipality.
Railway doubling is an opportunity for growth, but only with concrete attention to the needs of the territory can we transform it into a real advantage for everyone. The goal is clear: not to undergo change, but to lead it, ensuring that infrastructure development goes hand in hand with the well-being of our community.
