The art of the Madonnari is a unique tradition, a heritage of beauty and history that deserves to be preserved and handed down. Today, the Museo dei Madonnari di Grazie reopens its doors, more welcoming and enhanced, thanks to recent re-functionalization works.
An intervention made possible thanks to the funding of the Lombardy Region as part of the call for the redevelopment and tourist-cultural enhancement of historic villages, which has made it possible to return to the community a symbolic place, a point of reference for artists, citizens and visitors.
This museum is not only an exhibition space, but a bridge between past and future, where the works of the great Madonnari Masters — from the pioneers of chalk to the most modern experimentations — tell the story of an ephemeral art, capable of exciting and surprising.
The Municipal Administration has worked with determination to bring this treasure back to light, and now, with pride and gratitude, it returns it to the community. A place that will continue to be a beacon for culture, a beating heart of creativity and an attraction for tourists and art lovers.
