In the heart of Curtatone, a special project has been created, dedicated to all those who wish to fully enjoy their free time: the Leisure Center. An initiative designed by the municipal administration with the support of the Curtatone Solidale Association, together with Polisportiva Levata and UPC Curtatone, with a single great objective: to take care of every citizen, from adults to the elderly, valuing sociality, personal growth and well-being.
This center is not just a place, but a real embrace of free opportunities, which will come knocking on the door of every fraction of our territory from October 2024 to May 2025. Because free time is not just a moment of pause, but a precious opportunity to meet, learn and share.
There will be drawing workshops dedicated to young people, to bring out the creativity that lives inside each of them. For adults and the elderly, a digital literacy course designed to break down the barriers of technology, to discover together how to use it without fear, with smartphones, tablets and much more.
There will be moments of listening and discussion for teenagers, where they feel welcomed and free to express themselves. And again, art therapy workshops to find balance and well-being through art, meetings to rediscover the healing power of medicinal herbs and guided tours immersed in the natural beauty of Grazie and Bosco Fontana.
The Leisure Center is the concrete demonstration that Curtatone believes in the strength of the community and in the richness of human relationships. The activities will take place in different spaces, so that every corner of our municipality can become a place of encounter, growth and smiles: from the Montanara municipal library to the Siliprandi cultural center, from the Foro Boario di Grazie Infopoint to the Buscoldo civic hall, to the premises of Via Europa di Eremo.
